Pronounced ho-shhh.

Hoashe is my little corner of the institution. It'll deal with PHP, Drupal, shoegaze and distortion music genres and other nerd stuff I throw in.

I'm a history major gone rogue into web development. I've always liked storytelling in graphic form and I got side tracked while studying for my PHP certification when I decided to extend my study time and make a web comic about my efforts and overly-imagined antics.

To get the inspiration/motivation out of the way, I've read Calvin and Hobbes for around 20 years and I keep up with MegaTokyo and XKCD.

I, from time to time, create vector art based off of works from sculptors and painters like Rudolph Tegner and Thomas Lawrence, respectively. Less seldom is my attempt at creating digital music. I'll post my work in the Noise and Vector sections.

The name Hoashe was a domain name that I purchased for a site/api combo that I was building. Then, my co-worker showed me Twitter. So, I had an extra domain name. Maybe after the comic runs for a while, we could come up with a definition for Hoashe.
